Joy Peskin at FSG has bought, in a preempt, Finding Forgiveness: A Rosh Hashanah Story by Rebecca Gardyn Levington (l.) (Brainstorm!), illustrated by Diana Mayo. The rhyming picture book, set during the Jewish New Year's Tashlich ceremony, is about two sisters learning how to forgive each other and themselves after a terrible argument. Publication is scheduled for fall 2025; Kaitlyn Sanchez at Bradford Literary Agency represented the author, and Christine Isteed at Artist Partners represented the illustrator.
